Fluida 0.9.7 feels like a brand new theme
At first glance Fluida 0.9.7 may seem like just another regular theme update. Some fixes here, some improvements there, maybe a couple of new features in between.
But if you’ll take even a quick look at the changelog, more specifically at its sheer length, you’ll quickly realize there’s something more sinister going on.

New site and other goodies
Our site has received a major overhaul. It has a brand new look, a new static front page, new theme pages and a lot more.
Everything is a lot more user friendly and things like support and theme information are a lot easier to find. Check it out if you haven’t already.
Fluida is finally live on WordPress.org
Just like the title says, the wait is finally over. You can now find our latest theme Fluida on WordPress.org as well as auto-install it directly from your dashboard.
It took a little longer than expected but the result is what matters after all.
Parabola 1.7(.1/.2/.3) parties hard
Parabola is in a festive mood – this week she is celebrating her third birthday since being revealed to the world – the inclusion in the themes repository came a month later in August (things were so fast back then…)
But being the responsible girl that she’s always been, Parabola 1.7.1 takes a quick break from all the cake and drops by with another update fixing, improving and adding things.
Yes, you are seeing right – two Nirvana updates in (about) two weeks – such a quick release cycle hasn’t happened in a while. This must be due to the warmth helping code move around and settle itself faster (as it’s almost summer for us here in the northern hemisphere).

Fluida sighed and took a quick glimpse at the sun but soon after the storms returned. She’s now trapped on the adrift review process that seems to never reach the shores.
But not all hope is lost. Here to brighten the day a bit, an update comes to sync the world with the development process. For the full list of changes…
Despite unfounded rumours, there may still be some ideas left for Tempera. This new update brings all the additions, improvements and fixes the previous update forgot or didn’t even think about.
There are quite a bunch and wouldn’t fit in the intro, so for the full list…
While the school year is coming to an end, learning time is never over for Nirvana.
This is a maintenance update which improves microformats support, adds new WordPress.org theme tags (and removes old ones) and fixes several CSS and content issues. For the full list of changes…
Parabola 1.7 knows it all
Three years ago (almost to the day) we were taunting you with our (then) brand new theme. In the meantime dust has settled, scratches appeared, but the bookmark was never removed. It took three years of learning and studying its younger siblings for Parabola 1.7 to gather all the knowledge and code to grow further.
With this release we want to thank our (veteran) Parabola users by bringing two heavily requested features in the biggest update yet…
Fluida already made it past a checkpoint, there were no “please come with me”, no “what’s in the bag?”, no strip searches, no night-long interrogations, the second checkpoint was within reach, things were starting to look bright, and then out of nowhere it happened…
There was no warning, no foretelling signs. With a simple phrase not even directed at her, Fluida got shoved all the way back to the end of the line. The bright doorway is far in the distance again…
Normally, an update post would start with something grand (or something terrible) about what the new update brings. Unfortunately, Tempera has a lapse in new ideas so this time there’s nothing new (and nothing terribly wrong about it either).
This update exists simply to catch up on fixes with her siblings.
Fluida is about to become popular. She’s been approved and accepted in the WordPress.org cool group of themes and will soon join her siblings. And to celebrate this event we improved Fluida with even more fixes and additions.
We’re also working on Fluida’s own Presentation Page which should join in on the fun in a future theme update. Stay tuned!
Three months and 500 queued themes later, Fluida is nearing the end of the review line and will soon enter the door into WordPress’ Theme Review virtual offices. What awaits her there – nobody knows…
However, to prepare for this, we’ve gathered up a fresh set of features and fixes in Fluida’s backpack.
Mantra 2.5.0 is nearing 5 years with a tear
Updates celebrate milestones; updates bring fixes and improvements; updates build and expand upon collected knowledge. But sometimes updates can also bring hurtful changes.
Mantra 2.5.0 is in a happy/sad mood – celebrating almost 5 years of existence but losing part of itself at the same time.
Just like with her sisters we have set up an alternative solution. As we previously announced, we decided to retain the settings page functionality and move it to a separate plugin.
