Windows Phone support pitch-in campaign

You may have noticed the appearance of a little blue box on the right side of our website. It’s not there just because we love blue, but because we need a bit of help (being blue).

Developing web-related creations is hard work enough. Developing free creations… that’s turning more and more into a spiritual path. But when we also need to test our creations, that’s where matters complicate.

In today’s world with thousands upon thousands of devices, each with its own software, testing things just gets more difficult. While an emulator is good enough in some cases, it does not cover everything. We need an actual device running Windows Phone to truly test things out. We need the real deal…

Nirvana is now LIVE and you are a part of it!

Our latest WordPress theme, Nirvana, is now Live and available to download and install directly from WordPress.org. Now there’s absolutely no reason not to check it out.

Follow us after the jump for the celebration and the full changelog since the theme’s brief but intense existence.

WordPress Child Themes Tutorial

You never really got a solid grip on WordPress child themes? Well now’s your chance.

We provide both a complete step-by-step tutorial as well as a one page go-to resource for quick starting a child theme in no time. The choice is yours.

Parabola 1.4 holds a grudge

Run! Hide! Save all the women and children. Parabola 1.4 has arrived and she’s got a grudge.

She’s upset because she’s been ignored for so long while the two younger sisters got all the attention. So upset that she’s bringing a major update with lots of changes, some fixes and (hopefully) no new bugs…

Tempera 1.2.2 to the rescue

It’s not been long since the last Tempera update; unfortunately, independent of us, it has not been a successful one. The broken theme archive on Wordpress’ servers has plagued and ruined several websites without an easy fix.

Fortunately, we’ve been awake long enough to submit a new update. And the review team guys have been kind enough to already approve and publish it. So here it is, the Tempera 1.2 update (hopefully with all its files in place)…

CR2 Medussa theme for OpenCart released

Medussa (despite its name) is a very clean, polished theme with an almost flat (metro-like) interface, great usability and slick animations (without actually turning into Windows 8).

Main colours are: Blue, Gray, White; but fear not, they are all configurable through the theme’s integrated administration module.

Tempera 1.2.1 sweeps by

While everyone has their attention focused on the youngest sibling of the Cryout Creations themes family, Tempera manages to slip by a new version almost unnoticed.

Luckily we were awake enough to notice it and manage to find out the changelog just in time…

The new NIRVANA theme is now available for download

Yes, just as the title of this post says, our latest and newest WordPress theme is ready for download. Is it everything you thought it would be?

Follow us after the jump for the download link, a working demo and an extended intro with popcorn, ketchup and more.

Nirvana is just around the corner

Come on, take a look! Don’t be afraid to tilt your head a bit and take a quick peek.

We really don’t know who put that corner there but we’ve been using it to place our latest themes around it for quite some time now.

Tempera 1.2 is so great it skipped a number

It’s summer here in the northern hemisphere. And it’ll either be a hellish hot summer or a very wet one. So trying to keep you away from the Steam summer sale we are warming you up with a fresh new Tempera update.

First you might ask yourself where did the 1.1 version go to? Well, Tempera 1.1 went ahead and left for her summer vacation early. But Tempera 1.2 was nice enough to jump in ahead of time and take the spotlight. And right on queue, as this new version proves to be the largest update yet…

Tempera 1.0.1(.1) gets a bit shorter and then grows back again

They’re here – Tempera’s first (clumsy) steps after she has all grown up. On her own now, learning and adapting in this harsh cruel world of wild, user unfriendly, commercial themes, Tempera tries to make a life for herself by helping the world become a better place.

So, clumsy as they may be, Tempera took the first two steps (the second one mostly caused by a bad nudge we gave her at the first step) – but now she’s fine…

Parabola 1.3.4 is back in black

Well not actually in black, more like back from the darkness (of the missing updates). Apparently Parabola spent some time with Mantra in the back room (please no whistling here) and forgot to how to update.

But we brought it back on track and reminded it the importance of public appearances. So here it is, the 1.3.4 update, cleaner of bugs then never before (and yet so dirty…)

Mantra 2.3.4 still breathes

Yes, it is still alive! Despite such a long break in releases (the longest break yet), Mantra still has some breaths left.

One of these breaths is the 2.3.4 update, bringing the eagerly awaited (and fiercely requested) social icons bugfix (bug kindly bundled by yours truly with the previous update).

Tempera 1.0.0 brings preset color schemes

It’s that time again. It’s the moment one of our babies turns into a grown-up. Tempera’s not only responsive – it’s also responsible now.

The new preset color schemes carry a lot of weight in this new and important update. Find out more after the jump.

Tempera 0.9.9 is on the edge

The latest Tempera version has been available for some time now and as many of you have probably noticed, it brings some neat enhancements.

Find out what it fixes, what it enhances and what new ideas it brings to the table, right after the jump.

Tempera 0.9.8 is all about the presentation page

By far the biggest change this update is the new ‘More Posts’ Ajax button that replaced the pagination on the Presentation Page.

There are a few other Presentation Page fixes in this update and you can check them out in the full changelog.

Parabola 1.3.3 flies by

The latest Parabola update doesn’t want to stand out and tries to slide by unnoticed.
It is simply here to address a couple of small things, like SSL Google fonts, HTML inputs, CSS3 rgba() on old browsers and others.
It does its job and then moves on, leaving the path clear for then next update.

Mantra 2.3.3 stays in line

Mantra receives a small maintenance update, tweaking and changing things here and there.

The most noteworthy thing related to the 2.3.3 update (but not part of the update itself) is the corrupt Mantra archive lurking around on Wordpress’ servers. One of its evil purposes is to leave your pages content-less (but be ready for other nasty surprises as well). The fix?

Tempera 0.9.7 is on the counter

Another round of tiny fixes and small additions! On the house, of course. Careful if you can’t hold your liquor though, there are a couple more of these coming right up!

Join us after the jump for the full changelog.
