    The landing page only works when the homepage displays the default posts list. Assigning a static page as the homepage makes that override the theme’s landing page.

    You can find more info about how the landing page works and can be configured in the dedicated tutorial:

    You can hide the indicators with CSS:

    article span.entry-sticky,
    article span.entry-format {
        display: none;
    }

    The sidebars are universal for the entire site (the widgets set in each sidebar are visible everywhere on the site where that particular sidebar is displayed).

    To controls the widgets visibility depending on section you’ll need to use additional plugins: https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/widget+visibility/

    Translations or multilingual functionality are not handled by the theme.

    If you need those functional you should investigate why the plugin responsible for them is no longer working (and the shortcodes don’t get processed).
    Otherwise, you can edit the fields to remove the shortcodes (including the theme’s settings fields which are capable of holding displayed text).

    That depends on where you’re expecting the header image to change in. Some elements displayed by the theme do not display the header image (even though because we use the same sample image in several locations it may seem to be so).

    Use the menus administration screen in the dashboard to assign menus to the desired locations.
    If the main navigation location is empty, the theme will display the default pages list menu – create and assign an empty menu in that location to disable it.

    I cannot reproduce this error with either Mantra and Tempera (current releases) using the settings plugin and WordPress 5.2.4 (on PHP 7.x releases, I am not currently able to test with older 5.x PHP versions, but those are not supported and shouldn’t be used any longer anyway).

    The indicated line is running a filter on the action links displayed next to the plugin in the plugins list, my guess is there may be some other plugin on your site that’s also trying to run a filter there and it’s conflicting with the TGM-PA framework included with the themes.

    Try to temporarily disable all active plugins on the problematic sites and see if the issue persists.

    WordPress doesn’t include a way to disable the author biography and all default Templates (which our themes are inspired from) display the bio when it is set.

    If you need to disable the theme’s bio inclusion you’d need to customize the content/author-bio.php file (preferably through a child theme).

    If your homepage should display just the default posts list and don’t intend to use the theme’s presentation page feature, ensure that no (most likely empty) static page is assigned as the homepage.

    The title attribute is used by the browser for accessibility reasons and its display is under the browser’s control. The title attributes should never include that much content (how are you getting it there, anyway? those normally include just the categories title).

    You can force some browser behaviour changes with the following CSS:

    #categories-4 a:hover {
        pointer-events: none;
    }

    but this may render the links totally unusable on some browsers.

    The theme supports up to 5 social icons. The indicated site displays 7 social icons, which means it was customized to do this.
    You will most likely need to browse the code of the child theme to figure things out (the customizations may be based on the information available here: https://www.cryoutcreations.eu/docs/themes-legacy/faqs/tempera/#how-to-add-another-social-icon-in-tempera)

    All of the theme’s menu locations are configurable through WordPress’ built-in menu options. To leave the main navigation empty assign an empty custom menu to it (otherwise this navigation will display the default pages menu).

    The Plus edition has built-in support for enabling the mobile menu at a configurable screen width. In the free edition you’ll need to use custom CSS to do that:

    body #nav-toggle {
        display: block;
    }
    body #access {
        display: none;
    }

    Your site is displaying the theme’s presentation page feature with the default demo content. Have you always used the presentation page? Was it configured with your own content in the slider/columns sections? If not, you can disable the presentation page from the theme’s settings.

    Are you saying that when standards become updated/accepted (specifically the ‘font-display’ attribute) this will cease to be an issue and I should wait until then?

    To make content images clickable make sure you enable their links when inserting/editing them (in the editor). You’ll also need to use some kind of fancy/color/light-box plugin to make the larger images pop-up on the existing site (WordPress functionality will simply make the browser display just the image file in the current tab).

    WordPress.com provides some detailed information on how to use images in the content (although the interface is not identical to the .org counterpart):

    I’m not sure how I missed your message on my previous rounds through the forum.
    I can confirm the issue is present in the theme and we’ll have it fixed in the next update. Until then you can apply the following custom styling to your site to correct it:

    @media print {
        #site-header-main .site-header-top { display: none; }
    }

    Hi,

    I am having the exact same issue. Google already checks for “font-display: swap;”. This should be supported regardless of the CSS 4 release status. If Google checks for it, that makes it THE standard. The rest is just theory.

    This is a bug.

    hello there.
    thanx for an awesome theme. Is this issue really resolved though? On mobile phones the h1 titles are not printed out completely. they get cut. All I see is the underlying header image and some parts of the title. the font is way too big to display the whole title.

    OK, I’ve checked Customizing Setting;

    1) Customizing > Landing Page > Settings > Enabled
    2) Landing Page > Slider > Serious Slider and Sample Slider

    But it still doesn’t display slider.
    Did I miss another setting options?

    There is no general “read more” button for the entire section.
    You could re-create such a button by using the theme’s text area located below that particular featured boxes section to display the button in it (while leaving it title-less).

    To adjust the menu structure/appearance further than what’s available you might want to search for and use a mega-menu plugin.

    The search functionality is the standard functionality provided by WordPress. If you need it to behave differently like provide search suggestions you may need to use some search-related enhancer plugin; or to change how results are displayed you will need to tweak and customize the theme’s search results template (search.php).

    In Fluida meta attributes are displayed between the title and the content (at the top of the post) not below it.

    Again, apologies for the delay! And thanks for your response. 🙂

    I apologize if my writing comes off offensive as that is not my intention. I just write quickly during a busy day and I apologize if does sound offensive.

    However, I really don’t want to discuss CSS standards – not saying they are not pertinent! I’d really like to just find out what I can do to fix this issue. Your 2 previous replies has not furthered my research or led me to a solution but I do appreciate the response.

    You can hide the header image on smaller screens with custom CSS:

    @media (max-width: 800px) {
       body #header-image-main {
           display: none;
       }
    }
