Page layout – how do i keep side bar changes for each page?

    Hi,
When i use static page layout for a page it works ok, but when i try to use the same layout for another page i can’t edit the content in the side bars to be different – what i enter for the new sidebar in a second page, then shows up on the other pages with the same layout.
Can this be changed, so that i can have different content in the sidebars in different pages?
The site isn’t live yet, it will eventually be the one i’ve written below, i’m using staging to develop.
    Many thanks

The sidebars are universal for the entire site (the widgets set in each sidebar are visible everywhere on the site where that particular sidebar is displayed).

To controls the widgets visibility depending on section you’ll need to use additional plugins: https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/widget+visibility/
