    That is the theme’s top menu navigation area, which is part of the top bar functionality (which needs to be activated for the top menu to be displayed).

    For that you’d need to use a one-page site or load your entire site through an IFRAME inside a wrapper holding the player (but this will prevent the browser from displaying the correct section URL).

    Thank you for your answer. What I would like to do is achieve what you described in the second part of your comment. But when I try what you suggest no images are displayed at all. How can I set that parameter to 0 and still see pictures?

    Thanks a lot for the help

    It really depends on the images. The theme will try to generate crops at the appropriate size (configured height and calculated width – dependent on site width and posts columns count). The cropping position is also configurable (to try to position the viewpoint on the more relevant part of the images)

    If you are not satisfied with how the crops turn out, you can disable cropping entirely by setting the featured image height to 0. This will make the theme display the images as they are (only shrinking them to fit the width).

    If you wish to display an image (be it the featured image or any other) on specific single posts, you can include the image directly at the beginning of the posts themselves.

    You might be able to find a plugin which provides the functionality of displaying the featured image via a shortcode, but it sounds to me a more complex solution than simply inserting the images in the content.

    Repository themes are not allowed by the guidelines to include shortcode functionality.
    There is no Septera Plus theme yet.

    @vasskion I notice the custom CSS is commented out now and the logo is displayed correctly on mobile devices. Are you still having issues?

    The theme does not collect any kind of data nor does it monitor what visitors view or click on the frontend (repository themes are not allowed to include such functionality, as this would be considered plugin territory anyway and is not accepted by the guidelines).

    Any information entered in the settings fields is simply displayed as-is on the site frontend.

    You can hide it with CSS:

    .home #content .entry-title {
        display: none;
    }

    It was understood.
    But this setting item is still left and might invite confusion.
    In addition, it is hard that a text (mainly a title and contents) is not displayed well when I do not use the custom CSS.
    Because I understand CSS, I make custom CSS.
    Thank you.

    Those sections are the landing page’s text areas. To obtain the same appearance, assign featured images to the pages that you’re displaying in the text areas (the images will be used as background images so make sure to have the needed size).

    You can find detailed information on how the landing page and the text areas work in this tutorial:

    The theme does not display the featured image in single post (or single static page) sections. The featured images are only used in posts lists (and in the header if the corresponding option is enabled).

    In single posts / pages the desired image can be inserted directly in the content (at the most appropriate location).

    Are you using Safari? On Safari the fixed positioning is disabled as a workaround because the browser is not capable of correctly handling both fixed and contained background images for elements that have other overlaying elements over them and displays distorted background images.

    Static pages are different than posts and do not normally display meta information (like author or publish date). We’ve followed how the core WordPress themes work on this behaviour.

    Some button labels are directly configurable in the theme options. The rest of the texts displayed by the theme can be edited using translations.

    Featured boxes do have links on their titles.
    Making the images links as well is complicated by the color overlay that gets displayed on hover.

    Nirvana (and the other older themes) are capable of displaying random posts in their presentation page slider and columns areas.

    The newer themes can display posts in the new landing page featured boxes sections, but the posts are sorted based on their publication date (latest first). This order can be customized by filtering the theme’s custom queries handling these sections.

    Zed
    Cryout Creations mastermind

    WordPress has built-in support for such functionality – by default it displays the homepage as the blog archive (listing all the posts). If you want the blog to be a separate site section, then you can use WordPress’ Reading Settings (or the Homepage panel in the customize interface) to set a particular static page as the homepage and choose which other site page will become the blog section.

    Hi Zed,

    slider should be displayed in the widget area “content before”.

    #65430
    Zed
    Cryout Creations mastermind

    On your homepage, the “Home” text is the text area’s title (in which you’re displaying a static page titles “Home”).

    You can use a more meaningful title for that static page, or apply CSS to hide the title:

    #lp-text-zero .lp-text-title {
        display: none;
    }

    When using the Plus theme’s Featured Content elements, these have a built-in meta option to hide their titles.

    I see no slider container (HTML markup) on any of the indicated sites.

    I have not checked all, but at least one of the “images” is not an image. It is in fact HTML returned by the server. You can see that by entering
    view-source:https://i.gyazo.com/cbb770728089ca1061488a8ab43c29ad.png
    in the browser’s address bar (force refresh once if it isn’t displaying code).

    The first post is a specific post format (in your case – link). Post formats are always displayed in full because they are intended for very specific usage cases.

    To add to the strangeness of this issue. Making the first and second image the same and changing around some others seems to “fix” the issue sort of, but it is a very odd thing. Edge looked like it wasn’t loading an image that was supposed to be there which prompted me to attempt it. I’m really unsure why it would not be finding the image though.

    Further adding it was only “sort of fixed” until i did a cache refresh of sorts (shift+r) then reloaded normally. It definitely seems like images aren’t being loaded properly or something. I can’t figure it out. Firefox displays something like what I linked and the edge does a tiny little square with an X through it like “no image” photo looking icon i guess.

    You have submitted screenshots, photos. There is no text in all images.

    Attention! Text Missing, absent. NO TEXT, none !!!! NO display on the screen.

    For example plugin Cookie Notify. Text: “Our pages use cookies”
    The text disappeared. No text. NO display on the screen.

    For example plugin Cookie Notice Bar have Message “We use cookies to ensure that we give you the best experience on our website. If you continue to use this site we will assume that you are happy with it”. This Message for visitors. On the screen of the computer message is not. Message missing, disappeared.

    The visitor opens my site and sees only the red “Ok” button. Why “Ok”??? Click “Ok” he fears, because he may be billed in dollars for using the site after clicking the button. The is leaving. I lost my profit from advertising on my site. It’s not a joke. Bad humor.

    I recommend to open the plugin settings and find Message “We use cookies to ensure that we give you the best experience on our website. If you continue to use this site we will assume that you are happy with it” To display on the screen.

    Hope and I am sure that the problem will be solved. You are professionals of the highest class.

    The image displayed by the theme by default on the landing page (homepage), under the menu, is not the configured header image but a static slider placeholder, which is configurable from the theme’s options under Landing Page > Slider.

    Due to technical limitations, the sample image is not visible in the customizer panel. To replace it, simply assign a different image. To remove the sample image, assign any other image in its place and then remove that one.

    The static slider buttons are configurable from the same Landing Page options panel.

    In the recent 1.5.5 update the plugin’s checkbox should be correctly displayed even when using the theme’s “placeholders” option.
