Power UserIs there a solution in sight? Still have the problem with the header, which I don’t have with Mantra on my other site because I restored an older version through Vaultpress. However I now have a problem with images not being displayed, and some images being offset. Are you sure that rewriting this theme was a good idea? Now it is buggy while it was working fine before.

The same issue here (at the time in localhost only; I am the very new user of Fluida)
I have the wordpress and FluidaPlus up-to-date.
The “featured content” works weird in my attempts to place featured text and featured boxes on the landing page.
To make bilingual website using Polylang I have created a pair of categories of featured content and have attached the respective pages to them, i.e. the English page to the English category and the Czech page to the Czech category.
For the Featured Boxes on landing page, I can either attach All post categories, or specific post category, or All Feature Boxes categories or specific Feature Boxes category. Three of the options work well (All categories for posts display the newest posts, Specific category of posts displays posts from the given category, All Feature Boxes categories display all Feature boxes as expected), but if I choose any specific category of the Featured Boxes, nothing is included to the page.
The Featured Texts created using the Feature Content plugin are ignored if set-up to the Text Area. There is probably an easy workaround for this to use Page instead, but I feel this as a pity.
I tried to refresh the Fluida settings to defaults and the problem persists.
I hope I made it to explain the issue.

Zed
Cryout Creations mastermindThe header image, when set, is displayed on the entire site. Additionally, if the appropriate theme option is enabled, pages and posts can have their featured images used in the header (if big enough).
Separately, the theme’s landing page feature has a static slider image section that can display a specific image (totally distinct from the header image).

In Kahuna theme, the message is displayed not good but acceptable in all browsers.

This theme has some issues handling CSS. It changes too hard some styles: i.e. hides labels. To solve that problem just add this CSS to your theme:

Cryout Creations mastermind@xuefaith, your information contradicts the initial question. The blog page and posts homepage are normally mutually exclusive – the homepage no longer lists posts if a blog page is defined, since that requires the homepage to display a static page.

Cryout Creations mastermind@Mxthieu: I assume you’re referring to the header titles feature (displayed below the menu), as you are not using the site title in the header (next to the logo).
If the header title doesn’t fit in the available space (with your set header image), switch the header image from contained to cropped (as this will make it keep its height on mobile devices), or disable the header titles feature.

Hello,
I have a similar problem and have already posted it here: https://www.cryoutcreations.eu/forums/t/site-title-bug-on-mobile-version
I kind of solved my issue by adding the following code into the Custom CSS field in the theme settings:
@media only screen and (max-width: 800px) and (min-width: 451px) {
/* Site Title and Text on mobile */
#site-text {
font-size: 16px;
display: inline-block;
}
}
@media only screen and (max-width: 450px) {
/* Site Title and Text on mobile */
#site-text {
font-size: 15px;
width: 190px;
display: inline-block;
}
}Be careful though because the different devices have different screen size of their browsers and you will probably have to define some more lines like these for different resolution sets.
Best Regards,

Cryout Creations mastermindThere is no magic solution to make sure the text is readable on any kind of slide images (without changing the theme’s design).

April 19th, 2018 at 13:20 #62742In reply to: Will I lose things if I update?
Zed
Cryout Creations mastermindWe include changelog information in the theme’s readme.txt file and on individual update announcements on our site.
If you wanna get down and dirty you can get a full changes list on WordPress.org Trac:
https://themes.trac.wordpress.org/changeset?old_path=tempera/1.4.8&new_path=tempera/1.6.2
You’ll have use the “view diffs” link for each individual file as the theme is too large for the changes to be displayed in a single list.Depending on the customizations you’ve implemented the update could go from not having to do anything to having to adjust most of the styling customizations.
Note that Tempera 1.5 is a major update and implements quite a few visual tweaks and changes.If you’ve made any changes directly to the theme files (not through a child theme), such changes would be lost on every update.

Zed
Cryout Creations mastermindWidgets are normally displayed stacked vertically (one under the other) so your second widget does not fit in the available header space. If you want to fit two widgets one next to the other horizontally you’ll need to increase the widget area width and use custom CSS to customize the stacking:
body #header-widget-area ul.yoyo > li { float: left; }The theme’s presentation page section does not implement sidebars.
