Cryout Creations mastermindI’m sorry about the very late reply, we’ve been busier with some personal events recently.
The doubling of the borders on the menu items is due to the addition of an extra span by the plugin that’s providing the menu icons/images functionality. You can disable the extra border with some CSS:
#access .sub-menu li:not(:last-child) span > span, #access .children li:not(:last-child) span > span { border: none; }The difference in title placement between the homepage and the rest of the site is due to additional (unused) markup being present on the homepage. Apply the following CSS to correct that:
.home #header-page-title .aftertitle-meta, .home #header-page-title .aftertitle-meta + .byline { display: none; }If you like our creations, help us share by rating them on WordPress.org.

Zed
Cryout Creations mastermindThat isn’t possible with the available options in the free edition of the theme. The Plus edition has additional meta options for that.
With the free edition it can still be done with CSS:
.page-id-123 #masthead #header-image-main .header-image { display: none; }replace 123 with the correct ID number of your target page.
This CSS cannot be used with the menu over header image option (since there will be no header image for the menu to sit on, making it overlap the content instead).

Zed
Cryout Creations mastermindThe next/previous post links are core WordPress functionality.
If you want to customize them, you’ll find the function calls in Parabola’s single.php template. If you want to hide them, that can also be done with CSS:
.single #nav-below { display: none; }If you like our creations, help us share by rating them on WordPress.org.

Cryout Creations mastermindThe entire site will display the general header image, if one is assigned.
Additionally, on the single section, the theme can display the post’s or page’s featured image as the header image if configured to do so.If you like our creations, help us share by rating them on WordPress.org.

Zed
Cryout Creations mastermindThe header area is not designed to use a background image (the header image itself, displayed below the menu, performs the task of being the image in the header).
If you’re looking to apply some kind of texture to the header/menu area, try the following CSS:
body .site-header-top, body .site-header-bottom > div { background-image: url(...); /* other positioning attributes: https://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_background-image.asp */ }If you like our creations, help us share by rating them on WordPress.org.

Zed
Cryout Creations mastermindSelecting a page template does not add content to that page – it simply activates specific theme behaviour to display the (future) content in a certain way and enabled some additional configuration fields.
Please see the documentation to see which page templates actually have specific layouts and configuration fields: https://www.cryoutcreations.eu/docs/themes/plus/templates/
PS: Page templates are only included in the Plus edition. If you have selectable page templates with the free edition of Fluida those are not provided by the theme (plugins may also force-add page templates).

Cryout Creations mastermindThe indicated URL is not a valid public URL so I cannot check the site myself.
The featured image is only displayed in posts lists when excerpts are used, so I can only wonder if the post you are applying the featured image to and doesn’t display it is perhaps using a post format (post formats other than default always display in full in Mantra and as such don’t display featured images).

Cryout Creations mastermindSome of the individual meta control options do not currently work correctly. This is on our to-fix list for the next theme update.
In the meantime, use the following CSS to hide the date in the meta bar:

Zed
Cryout Creations mastermindYou can assign different menus to different navigation locations, however the theme requires a menu to be assigned to the top navigation for the search icon to be displayed. I have not tested this, but it may still work after creating and assigning an empty menu.

Cryout Creations mastermindThe theme does not include such a message (and WordPress wouldn’t display something like that either) so it’s most likely coming from a plugin that’s installed on the site.

Zed
Cryout Creations mastermindThe caption (title, text and buttons) of the slider actually require a slider image, since they’re displayed on top of that image. If the image is a fully transparent PNG then there should be nothing visible (the slider itself should be transparent all the way to its container’s background).
The URL you indicated does not appear to work, so I cannot check out the setup myself.

Zed
Cryout Creations mastermindYou have enabled the ‘keep header image aspect ratio’ option, however the image has a width/height ratio that doesn’t provide enough height on the smallest devices for the site title/tagline to still fit in. You need to either use a taller image or disable this option.
Also, please use this custom CSS to get rid of the white space beneath the image:
#branding, #bg_image { display: block; }If you like our creations, help us share by rating them on WordPress.org.
Please check the available documentation and search the forums before starting a topic.April 3rd, 2020 at 23:50 #100857Zed
Cryout Creations mastermindI cannot recreate the issue – the block simply displays an empty area (since the shortcode is filtered out in excerpts).
If I switch the blocks to full content, then the map is displayed (although crammed in the available space).

Cryout Creations mastermindThe sharing functionality works fine for me on mobile devices (on full posts):

If you’re expecting the sharing buttons to also appear on the homepage, you need to check if the plugin can also enable itself on the post excerpts – as the homepage posts list displays just excerpts, not full posts.

March 19th, 2020 at 23:23 #100238In reply to: Codex submenu issue
Hi,
I deactivated all caching and optimising plugins, then tried again, still the same problem.
I also asked some friends to test it and they all reported the same issue.
It mostly only happens with as I said Character creation – Races.
as the list is too long to display on a single screen.I think that it would be solved for desktop, if I could get the top menu to stay at the top, and not follow as I scroll down. (currently no matter how far I scroll I can see and access the navigation, but I want to leave it at the top, so once I have scrolled down I can no longer see it.) I just cant find the setting to tell it to do that.
However I do not know what could be causing the issue on the phone.

Cryout Creations mastermindThere’s no built-in option, but that can be done with CSS. However since you are using the theme’s header titles functionality it is not safe to do this since the title requires a header image to be displayed on.

Cryout Creations mastermindDid you perform comparison speed tests with both Roseta and one of the default Twenty themes (both displaying the same content)? What is the speed difference between the two scenarios?
A quick speed test on your site indicates that the worst scored points are related to the content you have on the site (external resources and scripts) and server configuration (caching headers):
