Cryout Creations mastermindWordPress’ ‘Display Site Title and Tagline’ option controls the whole ‘identity’ block (logo, site title and tagline). To display just the logo you’ll need to keep this option activated and adjust the theme’s own option and chose what to display.
All of our themes enforce a size limit on featured image to get used in the header (meaning the featured images need to be at least 75% of the configured header image width and height to be used there).
We’ve added an option to control this behaviour in the latest 1.0.1 update and set it to disable this limit (for now).If you like our creations, help us share by rating them on WordPress.org.

Cryout Creations mastermindHi Harry,
Thanks for the feedback. Header image issues should be fixed in the next update.
I see you managed to hide the site logo.
To hide the text area titles add code to the Additional CSS field:
.lp-text-title { display: none; }Before posting consider reading our short theme debugging instructions.

Hi Zed,
Thanks for your reply!
Do you know if there’s any plan to implement a feature like this within any of the Cryout Creations’ Themes? Some other WordPress Themes have this feature, but it seems to be quite rare.
Being able to display a styled list of Child pages within a Parent page would be such a useful feature. I’m surprised it isn’t hard-coded into WordPress.

Cryout Creations mastermindThe theme is not designed to be used with nothing in the header area (title/logo, header image). Do hide everything above the menu on mobile devices, use this CSS:
@media (max-width: 800px) { body #branding, body #bg_image { display: none; } }If you like our creations, help us share by rating them on WordPress.org.

Power UserI discovered the answer to my first question, which was to add the following into Custom CSS. I still need help with the other two, however.
#nav-below {
display: none;
}January 5th, 2019 at 18:19 #72408In reply to: Remove "website" field from comments
Thank you for your answer. I had a look at the link you provided and if I want this filter to work I have to add it to the theme’s functions.php. But the Anima theme doesn’t let me access that, right?
After browsing a bit I found this CSS code;
#commentform .comment-form-url {display:none;
That get’s the job done, but still I would be interested to know what you would have done yourself.

Hello,
since the update my “About” widget displays the text inside the picture and not below. The text comes from the link to the About Page. Can you please tell me how to fix that? Thanks, Polly

January 2nd, 2019 at 14:49 #72288In reply to: Powered by link redirects to the incorrect website
If I active the theme, the url is correct. When activating the child theme again, the url is not correct.
I have the following active plugins:
– Akismet Anti-Spam 4.1 version
– All-in-One WP Migration 6.82 version
– Jetpack by WordPress.com 6.8.1 version
– Related Posts 5.12.84 version
– Simple Twitter Tweets 4.4 version
– SumoMe 1.30 versionbut I don’t think they are the cause of the url issue because when setting the theme, the url is correct.
The code that I added to the child theme is:
add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'enqueue_parent_styles' ); function enqueue_parent_styles() { wp_enqueue_style( 'parent-style', get_template_directory_uri().'/style.css' ); } add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'enqueue_load_fa' ); function enqueue_load_fa() { wp_enqueue_style( 'load-fa', 'https://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/4.7.0/css/font-awesome.min.css' ); }and the additional css that I added is the following:
#header-page-title #breadcrumbs-container { display: none; } #header-page-title .entry-title { max-width: 100%; } .entry-content .twitter-tweet-rendered { max-width: 45% !important; } #commentform .comment-form-url {display:none;} #lp-text-three .lp-text-title {text-align:center;} #lp-text-three .lp-text-content .continue-reading-link{float:none; text-align:center; width:105px; margin:0 auto;}Thanks!

Zed
Cryout Creations mastermindYou can use WordPress’ comment_form_default_fields filter or a plugin to control the fields displayed in the comments form.
If you use custom code use a number higher than 11 for the priority parameter (to make sure your filter is applied after the theme’s).

Zed
Cryout Creations mastermindWe’ve released an update today which addresses all the styling hiccups related to Gutenberg blocks which we’ve encountered in Tempera so far (mostly concerning images alignment, captions and lists).
We are not aware of problems using tags (that is core WordPress functionality and is not something controlled by the theme). Are you unable to set tags or are they settable but do not get displayed on the frontend?
If you find issues that are not resolved concerning Gutenberg, please let us know so we look into them.

You do need to hunt out the menu id from the page source, but that will rarely change so I can live with that if necessary:
var menu_1 = document.getElementById(“menu-item-964”);
if (menu_1 != null) {
menu_1.addEventListener(“click”, function(evt) {evt.stopImmediatePropagation();});
}Digging into the septera code, the following in resources/js/frontend.js , function septera_initnav :
/* Close mobile menu on click/tap */
jQuery(‘body’).on(‘click’,’#mobile-nav a’, function() {
jQuery(‘#nav-cancel i’).trigger(‘click’);
});Seems to be responsible for the event that closes the menu, disabling this kills menu closing altogether. I’m guessing that changing the logic here might enable this trigger to either close the menu in the event that a link with a target is clicked or open the submenu. Any advice on how to trigger the display of a submenu would be much appreciated!

December 18th, 2018 at 21:24 #71697In reply to: Presentation Page with Sidebars
Zed
Cryout Creations mastermindThe theme’s presentation page section is not designed to include any sidebars.
If you want to display a slider above the posts list but also retain the sidebar, you can try using a slider widget inside the theme’s ‘above content’ widget area.

Cryout Creations mastermindNaomi, you are not using the theme’s presentation page so that styling does not apply.
You’ve placed the theme’s columns in the footer widget area, where you can use this CSS instead:@media (max-width: 800px) { #footer-widget-area .ppcolumn { display: none; } }If you like our creations, help us share by rating them on WordPress.org.

Hi,
Thank you for helping me to get this Puzzler partly solved. One other very similar Problem i got with Header Images and Featured Images is the following.
When i use featured images on a Post everything is working great. But when i try to apply the same Featured Image with the correct size to a page, it is not working. The image won’t get displayed.
Any ideas how to get that solved?
Thnx in advance

Cryout Creations mastermindThe theme can display either the logo or the site title at a time on the site (but not both). Changing this requires extensive code, functionality and styling changes.
You are currently using neither of the two but only have the header image displayed on the site.

Power UserYeap, in this case I agree with you.
I do not use any logo or anything like it. It is the missing <h1> tag although I activated the title (which I want to display btw.) that causes me troubles ^.^
November 3rd, 2018 at 18:41 #70099In reply to: How to enable H1 tag in Tempera home page
Hi,
Yes, for the header widget but it’s getting around the problem, not my way of doing it.
@Wakachuli always has the theme, to see with him.For the CSS, I meant, that if you have to activate the display of the title and the undertitle, all this may appear on the image.
So, you’ll have to use CSS code to hide the two lines on the image, like display: none.Thank you

Hi,
Without answer, I changed the theme.
But cheched for displaying the title and undertitle, this will appear on the logo.
and if we do not want the title and undertitle, on the image, we will have to use CSS of the blow, that’s it?November 3rd, 2018 at 17:15 #70095In reply to: How to enable H1 tag in Tempera home page
naomi
Power UserHello 🙂
Using your Nirvana theme, I have checked the source code via CTRL+F and found that there is no <h1> tag. The title seems to be wrapped in the <title> tag only.
Basically, the page starts with the <h2> tag for the page title.
I am not using any logo, so I have checked the customizer and the Nirvana settings, on both pages the checkbox for displaying title and undertitle are checked.
I am looking forward to your reply!
Kind regards,
Naomi
