    You should not be making changes to the theme’s files (as these will be lost on the next update).
    Use the Custom Footer Texts field in the theme settings or a child theme for more extensive changes.

    This is what categories are for. When you set up menu items, add a menu item for one category and another one for a different category.

    That’s controlled by the third (last) General/Text field. Links use the Footer/Links colour fields (the last two overall)

    You can place any CSS you may want to use to change how your site looks in the Custom CSS field (under Miscellaneous in the theme’s settings page). This CSS is saved separately and is applied to the entire site without editing any files.

    The magazine layout applies to all category sections (everywhere where posts are listed). We are working to turn this into a page template so it can be used on selected categories/sections.

    Juanjo, that is sample content. Replace it with your own text/images and the “advertising” will disappear.

    Does your child theme’s style.css file have the required content?

    Description: Tempera sample child
    Author: Cryout Creations
    Author URI: http://example.com

    I think the issue here, and this is what I am experiencing, is that the 6 Cryout Column Widgets that are initially on the presentation page (Fully customizable, Responsive, Endless Fonts, Layouts and Page Templates, Presentation Page, HTML5, CSS3 and more) are not showing up on the Appearance > Widget > Presentation Page Columns > Cryout Columns space so there is no way to drag then out (ie: remove them) or edit them.

    I can drag a new Cryout Column Widget in and once created it seems to delete the original 6 and add the new one I have made. If I drag the new one that I made out and the space is empty then the original 6 are back in.

    I believe this is what is confusing people. If I understand things correctly the original 6 are NOT editable and will be removed as soon as the user adds a Cryout Column widget that they have made on their own. Is this correct?

    Hi Kay, thanks for your reply! I really love the theme!!! This is the link http://jamali.info/simorgh/. Tried the plugins. Maybe the right to left causes the problem.

    I cannot see where to edit what is currently in the columns. I have no idea where it is!
    I want to change the pictures and the text above it and it would be really easy if I could navigate to them and make my changes. PLEASE tell me where the heck I can go to edit the pictures that are already visible on the presentation page and change the text and images?
    Everything else is so easy to edit in fact easier than any other of these that I have done (only 2) but this is driving me insane trying to edit something that should be so simple!
    THANK YOU

    Well then Cryout creations… Your answer is to D/L someone else’s plug-ins with a slider different then our current homepage slider? From a Web Design point of view that is VERY amateur and sloppy. Please make the Slider available for Plug-in or add it to the theme Tempura. Get it together guys great theme just lacking attention to detail.

    Loving the theme still but I too am experiencing a problem with the pagination navigation on the presentation page.
    On my Presentation Page, the page navigation is this:
    1 2 3 > >>

    Clicking on >> returns a Not Found
    Clicking on Page 2 returns Page 1.
    Clicking on Page 3 returns Page 3 and expands the navigation to:
    < 1 2 3 4 5 > >>
    Clicking the single page advance > only works from Page 3.
    Clicking on the single page back < from Page 3 returns Page 1.
    Clicking on the single page back < from any page above 3 correctly returns the page.
    Clicking on << returns correctly to Page 1.
    Page 2 is never displayed.

    Many thanks,
    ~ Wayfarer

    Hi there,

    Sorry if i dig up an old thread…

    The CSS code you provide is working perfectly jim, thank you, but unfortunatly it doesn’t remove the border from the slider…

    Since my background color is white, it make a small “un-aligment” that i don’t like.

    I tried to find how i can remove it without success, any chance tou can help me ?

    @media (max-width: 650px) {
    #site-title span a {font-size: 25px !important;line-height: 30px !important;}
    #site-description {font-size: 12px !important;line-height: 15px !important;}

    @media (max-width: 480px) {

    #site-description { font-size: 11px !important;line-height: 10px !important; }
    }

    Change these to the desired values and add to the Custom CSS field.

    I believe we solved this via premium support and it was caused by missing “#” in the color codes.

    That selector should work fine in IE 10 and 11. Older versions may pose issues.

    I confirm the overlapping issue. We’ll solve that in the next update after 0.9.5 (which is already published).

    IE9 in compatibility mode actually renders things as IE7. Since IE7 lacks knowledge of a lot of CSS and HTML the theme uses, the only way to solve this is to remove compatibility mode (view)

    You can preview posts and pages within WP before publishing but I think the entire site will need a plug in, maybe this link will help a little more.

    Thanks Kay!
    I tried what you said.
    The logo gets responsive (i used my text logo without white space)
    The alignment of the custom logo is on the left hand side,
    is there any way to align it to the center.
    Thanks for all your help.

    Hi, thanks for your reply. I set OpenSans that should contain latinext characters, but I experience very strange results. In Chrome the site title displays correctly, but in other texts, those characters are substituted with TimesNewRoman. In IE and FF all texts are displayed badly.
    FF shows the site is UTF-8, so it should be all right. Any idea?

    Thank you
