    1. WordPress displays a specific number of posts on the homepage – by default 10 (this number is configurable in WordPress’ Reading settings).
    2. The height of the post blocks depends on the actual post content/excerpt (which would need to match in height).
    3. The theme does not (and cannot, per the guidelines) provide such functionality. You’ll most likely need to look for a plugin to do this.
    4. The theme is already optimized for this. However, repository themes are not allowed to include direct SEO functionality – you’ll need to use a plugin for this job as well.
    5. The customizer preview does not switch between device layouts, it just emulates how your site would fit on a certain screen size.
    The theme features multiple widget areas in its sidebar, some of which are always displayed before the content, some after the content and some not at all on mobile devices. Place your widgets as needed.

    The image sizes registered by the theme are not directly controllable, but they can be disabled by commending out/removing the appropriate code in the theme’s includes/setup.php file.

    Keep in mind that the theme will most likely display the wrong size images in all locations after doing this.

    I assume you manually copied the header socials HTML markup to your widget, as the header socials are not displayed in that location.

    Try this CSS:

    #header-widget-area #sheader {
        float: none;
        margin: 0 auto;
        display: table;
        position: static;
    }

    If you’re referring to the search box displayed in the menu (at the right end), that’s configurable from the theme’s Graphics options.

    Posting an interim solution for disabling the Featured Boxes sections. The CSS class names are #lp-boxes-1 and #lp-boxes-2, so just add this line into the additional CSS tab in customizer:

    #lp-boxes-1, #lp-boxes-2 {
    display: none !important;
    }

    I presume this is what should be happening when they are set to ‘disabled’ in the UI.

    Hello,
    I have the same problem. Theme works perfectly. The only problem is with the second language version of the page – no random images are displayed (static image yes). Please repair. Thank you very much. Palan

    When I look at the generated source for the site it looks like that the code for the slider is generated and I can not find references to the search box.

    But the page looks like this:

    This is how the page is displayed.

    And the same is happening to the Instagram widget. I can find correct references to the Instagram images, but they do not show up.

    Found an answer, sorry for the simplistic request.

    I added class-“responsive” to the <table>, <table class=”responsive”>. And the following code to the additional CSS

    @media only screen and (max-width: 840px) {
    table.responsive {
    margin-bottom: 0;
    overflow: hidden;
    overflow-x: scroll;
    display: block;
    white-space: nowrap;
    }
    }

    I managed to get the posts displayed by selecting show “Full Post” in the POST EXCERPT SETTINGS. Funny enough, these settings are saved. But this is not the desired outcome.

    Hello Kevin,

    I set all my themes with the page width to Full, that is the default for posts – then indiviually add sidbars to pages as I need them.

    But that only is for All posts – not sure how you can make some have the sidebar display.

    The image displayed in the theme by default on the landing page is not the configured header image but a static slider placeholder, which is configurable from the theme’s options under Landing Page > Slider.

    Due to technical limitations, the sample image is not visible in the customizer panel. To replace it simply assign a different image. To remove the sample image, assign any other image in its place and then remove it.

    At the bottom of the landing page you’ll find the landing page’s featured content section which can display either the selected static homepage, the posts list or be disabled entirely.

    The option to control this is located in the theme’s landing page > settings panel.

    The links present on the icons themselves seem to work as expected.
    If you used to have links in the icon blocks texts as well, make sure the theme is set to display full texts, not excerpts (version 1.5 changed the values for this option).

    WPML String translation seems to do the job on the presentation page – the cryout widgets can just be doubled up and displayed according to language with a 3rd part widget display plugin.

    Hi Zed,

    I done all what in step 1 but the home page is not displayed anymore.
    I was already configured to use static homepage and landing page was disabled.
    I even added the code you’ve provided but it didn’t help.
    More than that, as I’m using RTL (Hebrew) my menu is now displayed LTR instead of RTL.
    See all here:

    How can I solve it?
    this is my staging site. Not the live one 🙂

    You can choose what is displayed in the header of the site (logo, title, both or none) in the theme’s Header options (in the customizer panels).

    Thanks for responding, Zed. I deactivated my plugins one-by-one and still had the same error. I definitely didn’t rewrite any rules either. I would describe my WordPress literacy as “elderly grandmother” so I haven’t done anything fancy with the code or changed anything on my own (as far as I know). The website is super-simple: posts in reverse chronological order, most of the landing page features deactivated, an “about” page, and basically a “contact” page.
    So here’s the story, sorry for the length.
    Realizing my website still had my posts but not the static slider image, text graphics, featured boxes, etc., and using your update message as a reference, I changed the “your homepage displays” from “your latest posts” to “a static page.”
    Then, leaving the Homepage and Posts Page on “-select-“, my website still loads, albeit with header media instead of the static slider I had chosen (plus no boxes from the landing page). Changing the Posts Page to display one of the pages with content (or even an empty page) has no effect whatsoever without also changing the Homepage. Changing the Homepage to one of the other pages however, results in the problem I described originally (whether I choose another functional page or an empty one)- Safari just says too many redirects occurred.
    Interestingly, when I choose one of the other pages for Homepage in the customizer, and then choose a different Posts page, I get the header media instead of static slider, but when I leave the Posts Page on “-select-” it looks the way it should before I choose “publish”- despite not working when I try to actually load the page.
    So I’m assuming it has something to do with where I’ve put the posts, but obviously I don’t know anything about this.
    So, provided it isn’t a rewritten-rule or a plugin, do you know what else could be the problem or where I should go from here?

    You mean older products display the rating selector while newer ones don’t?
    A theme update can’t change the behaviour of newer content while keeping the older one functioning the same.
    Do the ratings work as expected on one of the default Twenty themes?

    Can you link to a working and a non-working product so we can compare the two?

    Nirvana does not display the featured image in the single post section. Here you can include the desired image directly in the post content (at the appropriate location and with the wanted formatting).

    The theme is capable of displaying both the logo and the header background image simultaneously. If you want the header background image to maintain aspect ratio, enable the appropriate option from the theme’s Header Settings section.

    I really like the Tempera theme and would like to keep using but I also have the same issue.
    I did a bit of playing around by saving the page to a local html file and changing some values and found that if I remove the class=”input-text qty text” bit from the line in the page as

    <input type=”number” id=”quantity_5a689a2ae7c3d” class=”input-text qty text” step=”1″ min=”1″ max=”” name=”quantity” value=”1″ title=”Qty” size=”4″ pattern=”[0-9]*” inputmode=”numeric” />

    then my quantity control renders better and you can see the number, the control is wider than necessary but at least the number is not visible.
    I went looking for the code that builds the “input type=number” line and found the file wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/templates/global/quantity-input.php
    I edited the file (of course making a backup first) and removed the class=”input-text qty text” from line 33 that begins with input type=”number” and now my product pages all display the quantity control that is readable.
    So the question now is whether the CSS class definition for the class=”input-text qty text” is missing or incorrectly defined in the Woocommerce CSS files??? I’m not very knowledgeable regarding CSS but will have a dig around…

    It would be great if the Woocommerce developers see this or someone more knowledgeable with WP and CSS can suggest an “easy fix” that does not involve manually editing a modules file (requiring the edit after updates too of course)…

    There seems however to be some sort of strange thing happening here, that the developers’ team may want to look into. On our QA site, I have articles that display the sidebar below content (http://qa.woxx.lu/1917-part-1/) and most others that look fine (http://qa.woxx.lu/alte-und-neue-kriege%e2%80%a9-denken-statt-schiessen/). Still waiting before upgrading, although most of it looks fine with necessary CSS tweaks 8^)

    You might be able to use a plugin to configure which sections of the site the header image is visible on.
    Or use CSS to hide it:

    body:not(.home) #header-image-main-inside > * {
        display: none;
    }
