Hopefully the attachment will show what I mean, but I couldn’t see how to attach it…

What I am trying to achieve is the top menu is to be a different font (Semiramis),, and only that.
But you can see that the body of the blog post is also changed (don’t want that).
The “Recent Posts” and “Recent Comments” titles are changed (don’t want that).

The only control I have found to control the font on the “top menu” is under “General Font” but then I get all the other side effects as described above, which are undesirable.

Hopefully that makes sense, but without the picture it might not.

Hi,

1. Kahuna Plus includes a template simply called Blog which can be used to create a clone of the standard blog section. If the page assigned this template has any text entered in the editor, this text will be displayed as an intro on that section, before the regular posts list.

2. The empty page found at the provided link is not using any particular page template. Double-check that there is indeed a template assigned to it and/or try creating an additional test page and assign the template to (to rule out some kind of slug overlapping).

3. If the behaviour is the same as #2, then the cause is probably the same.

More info: I’m using a Child theme, created from Bravada Theme V1.0.6 using plugin ‘Child Theme Configurator’, the only way i found to get a usable child theme for Bravada.
Do you use a child theme too? Which one?

I am also having this. Not with elementor, but the main menu is disappearing on the home page only. I found this css code to be the culprit:

To clarify, this CSS code is hiding the main menu from being displayed on the home page (only) & on several devices (including several laptops). Not sure why it’s only happening on the home page, but this is what I found.

Okay, I have found the update – it isn’t in WordPress under ‘updates’, it’s in my account here – I had to download it, upload it to WordPress, and thankfully no major theme revisions were needed. All good now. Thanks!

Thanks for pointing this out. The offending line of code

was actually found in wp-content/themes/esotera/header.php file.

I have deleted the entire line including the pm_pid. Pls let me know if this needs to remain. Thanks for your help.

Update: Today I uploaded a logo, an suddenly the video isn’t displayed any longer. Even when I deleted the logo, the video doen’t come back. I deleted the video, and uploaded it again, but nothing happened.
The “video” option is essential for the project.

I checked the FAQ but found nothing.

Do you have a solution?

I have search on forum with the word “category:” and found almost 12 results here but @zed you did not gave the solution of this problem, where as you are reffering all members to a tutorial here. Why not you giving the direct css code to modify and get rid from this issue…????

As indicated in the tutorial, strings can be found in multiple sources not just the theme.

That text, for example, is part of WordPress itself as the theme uses a core function to retrieve the category titles.

The featured images sizes on the frontend are those of the registered image size, however the registered width should be larger for your specific configuration (with only one sidebar active).

That value is specific to having both sidebars active. I think you may have found a bug in the theme which we’ll need to correct.

The letters animation effect is handled by the cryoutSliderTitleBreakUp JavaScript function (found in resources/frontend.js) which is not easily replaceable, and CSS animations defined in the theme’s main style – look for the ‘cry-single’ and ‘cry-double’ classes.

The animation duration is controlled by the styling, while the animation pause (duration between effects) is defined in the script.

another error i found is that the picture on top of the site (the pan with the ingredients and the slogan) is only seen cut in half (top half) with screen-resolutions above 1920×1080. its not squeezed or something like that, it´s literally cut under the first line of the slogan. how can i fix that?

i think i fixed this already.

Hi,

To do that you’d need to manually customize Mantra’s code. The function responsible for the presentation page content (including images) is mantra_frontpage_generator() found in includes/theme-frontpage.php, which is pluggable in its entirety via a child theme.

The ‘not found’ and search bar are there because your site has no content (posts) to display. Add content or set the homepage to display a static page instead to hide those.

Hello Cryout! I guess I’m not the only one who’s stumped. ; )

After struggling with plug-ins I found one that works (SlickNav). So anyone working on this would see that implemented on my site. But over here on my testing site, http://www.testing.davidweiss.net, I’ll leave it with the default Mantra mobile-menu. On that site, it’s “Page the First” that is the parent menu. I would still ideally like to customize this on my regular site (www.davidweiss.net) if possible rather than using a plug-in.
