    Thanks for reporting that. We’ve also seen it ourselves at one point.

    We’ve eventually found a solution and should stop jumping around in the next update (2.0.7).

    I actually found another (related) bug. When I view the site on my iPhone 5, the Presentation page column images have strange aspect ratios.

    First, when I created an image to match 201 x 322, I did so, but when I viewed the site on Firebox the aspect ratio was squished (but on these images – no other aspects of the site had an aspect ratio problem. SO in settings I altered the image box dimensions to 212×322, and ir compensated for the squished look. Now the image looks as it should.

    When I then view this on my iphone with Safari, in portrait these images looks squished in from the sides (which means that, had I left the pixel dimensions as they were, it would look squished in Firefox, BUT correct in Safari mobile – since I corrected for it for Firefox, it now causes the mobile to looks wrong). Then, when I flip to Landscape, the image looks squashed (like hor the original image looks before I compensated).

    So between this and the social media icons overlapping (and maybe too big), it appears that therre’s some overall bug with the layout scaling in both the web and mobile versions – and in the case of some images like the column images, it’s causing inconsistent aspect ratio problem.

    Just wanted to provide this feedback, hopefully to help improve the theme. Thanks!

    i found the problem. the problem was the “Crayon Syntax Highlighter” plugin. But i think too many sites is useing it, not sure why it is not compatible.

    I get the Not Found error on all browsers.

    Make sure the page with that ID exists, that the page is published and is publicly visible.

    Update. I think I may have found a plug-in that was causing the problem “User Login”. Deactivating that has partly fixed the problem, will give it a day and see if everything else comes right.

    Actually, this was for the affiliates, I’ve seen some sites that can use the small ones side by side, I want them to look less obvious. lol I did make sure I had enough room for them side by side, when I was just starting to change them to the small size… but all I could do was left and right align and ended up with them scattered (top one on the left, the next one on the right), so I tried the code I found for that but not the desired results.

    Thank you for any help you can give me. 🙂

    Was wondering the same thing regarding the width but found it out quite siply.

    right click on the picture and choose “show picture info”, for the standard 4 columns this gives me 218 px. (what the picture is scaled to)

    Thank you, Zed.

    I already found a solution on the WordPress forum:

    I have already found a solution to the Header visibility.  I need to make the menu visible now.  I can’t find what to put in the css.  Here is what I have now:

    @media print {
    img#bg_image {
    display: block !important;
    margin: 0 auto !important;
    }
    #menu{                             /*this part is not working, which css tag controls the menu?*/

    display: block !important;

    }
    }

    I have been looking at the css for @media print and wonder if there is something that needs to be changed there for the header to show up on the printout.  I assume that has to be done under Mantra Settings/Misc Settings/Custom CSS.

    What I found is that if I choose “Site Title and Description”, that will show up in the print preview, but if I choose Custom Header, it is blank.  The site is http://www.esummarize.com.

    I had the same problem with Mantra, but after I updated WordPress to 3.5.1, I found a new feature in Mantra “Customize”. I was able to use it instead of the old “Mantra Settings”. Hope it helps.

    I can get the text to center but not the image I’ve inserted (found in a search)

    paste this in custom CSS of Mantra settings

    #frontpage blockquote {text-align:center !important;}

    if that helps anyone

    Well, I’ve emailed four or five times now – which is to say completed a support request, and used your contact page – and I’ve had no reply, having paid $25 and waited, and waited, and waited.

    My first issue, I resolved myself in the end – by growing many grey hairs through age (that was the waiting for the response that never came) and in the end rolling up my short sleeves, and hacking the hell out of the site until I found what I needed to change, using no doubt very clunky code – the best I can do as an electrician. That was placing a video presenter on the front page in place of a fourth column.

    The second issue was altering the footer text – where it says “Mantra – powered by WordPress” etc – frankly, I don’t want to make it easy on hackers knowing the site is built on WP.  I have no issue crediting Cryout at all – and I take the view that although you offer the removal for the $25, it’s still you guys that put all the hours and almost as much coffee as I drink into building it.  Fair’s fair. I do want to EDIT it though.  Not yet solved.

    My third issue, I discover, is that I am making heavy use of the presentation page – it suits what I am doing with my site, essential, in fact.  On this point, Mantra beats the very much paid for theme we’ve been using the last two years.  However, I also have a blog/News section.  I cannot find a way to enable both the presentation page and have my blog posts show up on my “news” page.  This is also critical as it’s driving my SEO and backlinking.  Not Yet Solved.

    I feel both of these are reasonable questions for $25 — paid for, as I say, around two weeks ago – and yet no response at all from anyone at Cryout.  Very sure I cannot be the only one who would want both the presentation page, and a news page with my posts on it…..

    Since I cannot seem to elicit a response from you guys at Cryout, perhaps you can email me – you can see my email adress in the log, I believe.  Thank you.

    I see you’ve eventually found a solution. Custom CSS on #content table { } allows you to change any styling.

    ok found the issue, if you use the presentation page it has a conflict in the permalink for some reason.  I turned it off and all was fine I cold use the postname permalink.  once I put the presentation page back I had to revert to the default permalink.  Is there a fix for this?

    Below is my first post on this issue in case you need details.

    Having a horrid time with permalink with only one section of my site.  I have to set the permalink to default for the links to open.  If I set permalink to post name, they do not open and I get an error, “page not found”  This is the page.  All those links are previous radio shows.

    http://www.itsallaboutmusic.net/category/tune-in/  those links when set to post name will not open.

    Working with my host which is host gator to see if its on there end but this is the only theme that does this to me.  Deactivated all Plugins, all the normal steps.

    Also as shared in another thread, the favicon function does not appear to work for several of us.  Great themes hope to resolve this issue with it soonest.

    Followup: I found a solution to the layout that doesn’t require a different order of the elements: http://stackoverflow.com/a/14269831/1436451  So never mind on that part.  But the second question is more specific to Mantra and remains awaiting clues.

    OK I found the theme-shortcodes.php file and got the information from there. It would be useful if it was documented somewhere though. If there should be a shortcode button on the editor I seem to be missing that – maybe a bug? – I’m using OSX Lion with firefox 18 and I have come across strange behaviour in other themes such as visual editor not working etc.

    ok, found the problematic plugin, it’s SEPTiCORE’s wp-manga-project-manager, something i definitively cannot remove.

    still weird, wpmanga does not interract with other page’s comment forms, it only create a projects page/subpages…

    I don’t see white border around the images in the footer so I assume you found a solution.

    I believe it works in Firefox/Chrome and the header is not turning into a link in IE…

    If this is the case, we’ve found the issue and we’re fixing it in 2.0.2

    I found it  under Header Settings. Instead of leaving it as Custom Header, I set it at Clickable Header Image.  That fixed it for IE. Although now Mozilla not clickable. Any ideas?

    I had the same problem yesterday, but found that by going into my provider’s cpanel and poking around, I found where they were – they had uploaded to the wrong folder – and found where the images were that Mantra put in for demo, and moved the images there, then went back and changed the names in Matra’s wordpress.

    But now I don’t know how to change the font size on the the presentation page.

    Thanks Zed … though I was trying to hide the bar from users, whilst making it available to myself.

    In the end I found the admin-bar-disabler plug-in, which did just that …
