  3. is it possible to add sidebar content on the presentation page? I’ve read in a post somewhere it was not intended to be possible, but that it might be developed for a future release? Any news on that? Thanks a lot btw for the great theme!

    This is probably a no-brainer question, but….. On some of my pages I’d like to have an image/photo. When I import one from my library, it is the same small size. I’d like them to be larger, but nothing I’ve tried seems to work. How do I do this?

  5. Hello,

    i tried to use a child-theme (parabola-child). Everything works fine, but the output removed the header-Image! In the Child-Theme-CSS there is NO Style, but the header-Image is not there.

    Parabola-Child Output: there is missing the (img id=bg_image…) tag!

    Why is that? I cant use child-themes with this.

  6. Hello, this problem comes and goes for me. When i click on the Parabola Settings tab nothing seems to happen when i click on Layout, Header, etc. I try using different browser and same issue. The tabs will highlight if i double click or nothing will happen with a single click. Any help?

  7. Hi! I installed child theme woocomerce, then installed plugin woocomerce. When click “activate plugin”, opened white page and to “admin panel” do not enter.
    If delete plugin’s directory, then admin panel open.

    First off, really appreciate the Theme, it’s brilliant and works great for what I need.

    After lots of searching around the forum and elsewhere, I can’t seem to find an answer to what seems an obvious issue: optimising the presentation page SEO with Yoast.
    I’ve seen another comment referring to this in the Tempera theme (http://www.cryoutcreations.eu/forums/t/yoast-meta-description-and-keyword-on-presentation-page) but this suggests there is the usual Yoast analysis that you get on other pages; this isn’t the case with the Parabola presentation page, at least as far as I can tell anyway!

    Any help much appreciated.

    1. The widgets area is definitely not part of the theme, so you need to look for the cause of your issues someplace else (a poorly written plugin breaking WordPress’ dashboard JavaScript functionality?)

  13. When positioning the menu, it’s interesting to note that ‘left’ and ‘center’ do exactly as expected….but ‘right’, in addition to aligning the menu to the right, also REVERSES THE ORDER OF THE MENU ELEMENTS. The left-most link becomes the right-most and vice versa.

    Is that intended behavior?

    1. The theme’s slider is only part of the presentation page and cannot be used anywhere else. There are plugins out there which allow you to create sliders on your pages.

  22. I really need some help with the presentation page! When I type in the information I want to show up in the “column” section, the presentation page does not show my paragraphs, fonts, sizes, etc. I have a specific page (or can be a post) that I want to be seen on the “home” or persentation page, but cannot figure out how to make this happen.

    1. The presentation page replaces the default homepage (which lists posts); also, you cannot have a static (single) page and the presentation page at the same time. If you want to display some text on the presentation page, use the two extra title and text fields and the dedicated presentation page columns, slider and areas. Otherwise, disable the presentation page and assign a static page as homepage.

    1. You need to use images of the same size for the slider to behave correctly. Otherwise the slider will shrink/enlarge as it passes from a smaller to larger to smaller image.

    One question, though – how do I set the SEO meta-description for the presentation page? This is where it’s really crucial, and I’m not finding it anywhere. Help! All the default description says is “check it out” – ouch!! Thanks for any tips you can give….

  30. Hi, Is it possible to increase the gap between each page in the menu section. I’ve looked everywhere and for the life of me can’t seem to find a solution.

    I’m just looking to increase the width between say ‘home’ and ‘about’ on the menu. Is there a way to do this? I’ve looked everywhere through the forum and nothing seemed to work.
