I have just updated the them and my whole site is ruined! Nearly all customizations are gone and I have this gigantic header sitting there that won’t be replaced. Great!

update: ok so it is the landing page…:-(

If i disable the landing page and use wordpress homepage instead, the category page with intro -template doesnt work. it doesnt show the articles anymore, just the intro.

I disabled the landing page and my blog looks normal again. I’m not sure what the “category page with intro-template” that Danny mentioned is, but at least in my case, disabling the landing page worked.

You can do that by going into your theme customization, landing page, disable.

Edit: I should add that my theme is “Fluida”, just adding that because I’m not sure if Cryout Creations makes other themes.

@estellarosa: the landing page can be disabled from the theme’s settings.

@DannyL: are you using the category page with intro template on the homepage or some other page on the site?

@joan627: I see you’ve managed to disable the theme’s landing page in the meantime.

For anyone having styling issues after updating to 1.1, also try to perform a force refresh in your browser to rule out caching problems.

yes, I’m using it on homepage (fluida settings: use the wordpress homepage instead / landing page disabled -options).

category page with intro -template still broken. fluida version 1.2.0. last working version was and is 0.9.9.4.
i really would want to use the most resent version of the theme ‘cos other stuff gets fixed.

I just updated the Fluida to version 1.2.3.1. and have lost the whole landing page!!! It only shows the Home page even though the landing page is enabled… Is there a way to go back to the previous version as it worked well before?

You need to edit that page and make sure it has no page template assigned. If you want a custom layout you need to use the new layout meta option below.
