Hi,
I’m using the Bravada theme and I would like to display my social media icons (Instagram and Facebook) directly in the visible header navigation, next to my existing menu items.
My current header navigation is:
Films | À propos
I would like it to look roughly like:
Films | À propos | [Instagram icon] [Facebook icon]
I have created a dedicated Social Menu containing my Instagram and Facebook links, and it works correctly in the theme’s hamburger/toggle menu. However, I would like these icons to appear directly in the header, without requiring users to open the hamburger menu.
I understand that Bravada normally displays the Social Menu in the toggleable main menu. Is there a recommended way to add the social icons to the secondary/header navigation instead?
I also tried using the cryout_branding_hook suggested in another Bravada forum thread, with a simple test (TEST INSTAGRAM), but nothing appeared, so I’m wondering whether this hook is still supported/appropriate in the current version of Bravada.
I would prefer a solution that does not require editing the theme files directly, if possible.
Thank you!Website: www.mondinafilms.com
