No matter the size of the image being used, the slider in the presentation page seems to maximise it.

When evaluating this theme at the weekend, I was able to utilise images that were 400h (the default slider height) while using narrower images (in order to have a smaller image embedded in the slider to the left of the excerpt box).

Having taken the plunge to install the theme, I now cannot ‘force’ the images to any specific size, even when sized in graphics software to a specific size before uploading to the library. I have tried scaling within the media library, cropping, and uploading specific image size, and each time the slider magnifies the image significantly beyond the original image size.

I’d appreciate any help in resolving this.

Did you consider changing the slider size? If you want to use smaller images, use a smaller slider.

Doh! No, my brain didn’t catch up to that sidestep! I ended up scaling the images to 400h and then adding them as a layer in 1150×400 format in graphic software.

It is not clear where to go to CHANGE the slides on the slider???

Go to Appearance> Tempera Settings> Presentation Page > Slides and make a selection for your slide content.From there you cab select your slide source.
