Here’s the error that comes up. I’m logged in as an admin, and going through my media library. I went to an image and clicked “view” and got this error:

Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /{path}/{to}/{myWebsite}/stevenBritton.net/wp-content/themes/nirvana/includes/theme-functions.php on line 264

I have this error in the Apache error log.

In the media gallery this happens when pictures are not attached to a post.

So attaching media to posts will be the solution I guess.
