I’m going to shoot myself. After a ton of hours and a few weeks, I found this theme which appeared to be exactly what I was looking for (after installing and configuring two other themes over a few weeks only to find out that they were missing some “no-brainer” features I needed).
Now with this theme, everything is great EXCEPT for the fact that I can’t get the slides to display when the sidebar is visible. If I make the sidebar visible the slides disappear!!! Same f’n thing like with the last two themes.
Why in the world does every WordPress developer seem to do this??? Every theme has SOMETHING major missing. Having the slides/slider be visible WITH a sidebar to me is common sense.

Cryout Creations mastermindThat’s how front pages usually work. A sidebar is not really needed on the presentation page. If you really need a slider and sidebars on the same page, you can use a slider plugin on a normal page. It’s really simple.
