Tempera Theme sneak preview

It may seem that Cryout Creations turned into a one man team lately, but the truth is that while Zed has been making update announcements and provided (some) support, Mr. Kay in true creative mind and spirit has been investing almost all time in constructing his latest masterpiece: the Tempera theme.

Currently in (almost) beta state, Tempera is a siamese twin of Parabola options wise but a wealthy distant cousin as features and functionality are concerned. With just a few more things to put into place, the Tempera theme should be released in the upcoming days.

Parabola 1.2.2 skips a beat

After a bit of quarrel with the Wordpress theme review team (which even triggered a Codex instructions/rules update) and a rejected update, Parabola won and the new version is up for grabs.

The major change is in the presentation page’s behaviour, which will now display latest posts by default and which can be overridden by Wordpress’ “Show on frontpage” option…

How to use a custom menu in your WordPress website

Custom menus are advanced functionality for controlling the content of the menus built into Wordpress since version 3.0.

They are meant to be used when the auto-generated menus no longer suit the desired content/functionality of the site or when custom links / custom structures are needed.
