Which theme do you suggest?

Hi there. I am looking to transition to a new theme.
I did a makeover for a friend recently who had a very old version of Mantra that I updated to Parabola. (He had minimal requirements and it fitted the bill).
I was impressed by how easy your themes are to work with, although I’m still trying to get my head around how custom columns work with the Cryout widget.
I started playing around with Tempera for my site, then switched to Nirvana which appears to be the most recent updated of the older style configuration system.
Alas, there is no upgrade path to a Plus version with Nirvana. Can you suggest one of your more recent themes that I could try.
I’m looking for a theme with dark mode, full width homepage with slider, posts page with right hand sidebar and I like the Color Scheme choices of the old style themes. The new ones don’t seem to have this option?
Happy to pay if I find what I’m looking for.
I also like the fact you guys have stuck around, unlike my current developer who seems to have abandoned me.
    Any ideas?

    Hi,

Due to changes in requirements implemented by the WordPress.org themes directory some years ago, all our themes since then are different from the ones before (which we call classic themes – Mantra, Nirvana, Parabola and Tempera), specifically in the settings configuration and how the themes’ homepage (presentation page) works.
Additionally, all the newer themes have slightly different layouts and designs and are not quite like the classic four (we didn’t want to just recreate the classic themes with the new requirements).
As such, we cannot point to a direct replacement for a classic theme from the newer set. The choice is a matter of design and functionality.

The theme of a website largely depends on the purpose, content, and target audience of the website. Here are a few suggestions for website themes based on different types of websites:

Business website: A clean, professional-looking theme with a simple layout and easy navigation. A theme that highlights the company’s branding, mission, and services can be a good fit.

Blog website: A theme that focuses on readability and showcases blog posts can be a good fit. A theme with a customizable homepage, post archive, and social media integration can also be beneficial.

E-commerce website: A theme that emphasizes product images and descriptions, easy navigation, and a clear checkout process can be a good fit. A theme that has built-in payment options and inventory management features can also be helpful.

Portfolio website: A theme that highlights the portfolio pieces and provides a simple, uncluttered interface can be a good fit. A theme that is customizable and allows for the display of multimedia content can also be beneficial.

Community website: A theme that encourages interaction and user-generated content can be a good fit. A theme that supports forums, polls, and comments can also be helpful.

Ultimately, the theme of a website should be chosen based on the specific needs of the website and its audience.
