Table background and border formatting

I have a weird problem as I never thought I’d have to use tables instead of CSS, but here we go-

In Roseta/Codex I have a table that appears with alternating rows with white and gray background colors. In addition, there is a gray line at the top of the table. I need to have this table either totally white, including borders and backgrounds, or transparent. In short, it cannot be visible in any way.

Any ideas how to do this? I have been fiddling with CSS, HTML, and lots of coffee.

You can see the rather messy page here – http://poemssharonlougheed.com/sound-music/

I am baffled. Help will be very much appreciated.

    Hi,

Roseta has a built-in option that controls the appearance of tables, including having no background and/or no borders at all.
