Where do I configure the different social icons? In the Verbosa menu all I see are options for their appearance in the theme, not for each icon, such as Facebook, Twitter, etc.February 28th, 2016 at 18:25 #35951ZedCryout Creations Team
Verbosa (and Fluida) support social icons via a social menu location. You can add use this menu to define your social icons (there is already a sample menu automatically created when you enable the theme which you can work with).
The social icons are automatically detected based on the URL used in the links. We’ll document the entire procedure once this functionality is approved in Fluida (with its acceptance in the repository).February 28th, 2016 at 22:41 #35965Allen Dusk
I installed the theme and no social icons appear like in the demo theme. In the Verbosa customization menu, under Social Icons, there are only 3 check boxes:
Display above Site Title
Display below Site Title
Display at the bottom of the sidebar
I do not see any area to enter the URLs for social networks like the other themes of yours I have used. Is something not working, or am I looking in the wrong place?February 29th, 2016 at 08:16 #35969Allen Dusk
I figured it out… I remember seeing something similar on the WordPress 2016 Theme – for any other lost souls, just follow these instructions to make a social links menu: https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/social-links-menu/
