im looking to remove the default text background that shows up in the presentation slider

That is found in the Dashboard >Appearance>Burvaba Settubgs > Oresebtatuib oage,
On my site I used the title text for all of the text there. I like it better than the actual textg font.

Sorry for the typos in my first response. The text box doesn’t show completely on my laptop and I didn’t see the problem. The Should read Dashboar, Appearance, Nirvana Settings, Presentation Page.

If you are speaking of the faded black background under the excerpt, I know what you mean. I was going crazy trying to figure out the right class to use to style it. Turns out there is a color chooser under the Nirvana settings mentioned by Linda. On my current site though you have to go to Dashboard>Appearance>Nirvana Settings>Color Settings and then look for the “Presentation Page” listing. the background color for the text is the box on the right under the Slider options in that area.
