I was trying to make it so the menu would lie within the header but I can’t find the code for it. I also want to close the gap between the bottom of the menu and the top of the content, is there a way to fix these problems?

These are not problems since they are design choices.

#access { margin-top: -33px; }
#access ul li { margin-bottom: 0; }

Awesome! That fixed the menu issue, but it didn’t affect the proximity of the content background to the bottom of the header. Is there another code to use?

I also forgot one other thing. Is there a way to make the right hand column extend down the page with the content and not just with the widget?
