I’d like to customize the landing page with content not otherwise on the site. Essentially I’d like to present an overview of the website. When I look at the Icon Blocks, Featured Boxes.. they all derive content from other pages (either as an excerpt or Full Content.. )

Is there a way I can add my own text to the landing page sections?
