Image gallery default layout

I have a few WordPress galleries and have them set for the image to open as an attachment page. When you click on the picture though, it doesn’t keep the default layout. The default is set to the main content to the left and the widget bar on the right, but when you click on a picture in the gallery, the widget bar goes away and the content is takes up the full page. Look at http://supercutepetcontest.com/?page_id=333 for an example.

On my home page, I am using NextGen gallery plugin to display the pictures and when you click on those pictures, the layout stays correct. However, I want to stop using NextGen Gallery so I wanted to see if I could find some help with the layout for the attachment pages. I’m pretty sure I need to make some changes to the attachment template, but I wanted to see if there might be an easier fix first.

Sure would be great if we could have an easy solution to this one. I would like to have the default layout apply to the attachment pages as well.

Thanks for pointing out this discrepancy. We’ll correct it in a future update.
