How to resize my header background image?

    Hi,

    I would like to know how I can resize my header background image. The theme recommended size for a header is 1200×150 px, so I uploaded a image of that size. However my image is displayed at a bigger size that its original size. I think maybe 10-20% bigger. I tried to make it smaller with custom CSS, but I don’t see any changes. Can someone please tell me how I can correct this?

    Okay, I solved this one already. Still looking for ways to separate main content from sidebar though..
