How to get a comments box and not for it to divert…

    Hello,

I am new to WordPress and I have started building my first site – lakesidelivery.co.uk

I am slowly starting to get to grips with everything, however I have one issue that I cannot resolve.

On my blog page, I click ‘leave a comment’, and instead of it giving me a comments box, it transfers me to  my ‘about’ page. This is really confusing me and I don’t know why it is happening.

    I have done the following

    – checked that comments are turned on in the discussion settings

    – checked that comments are turned on on the posts themselves

    – checked that comments are turned on on the blog page

    – check the post settings int he Mantra theme that I am using.

Please can someone advise me on what to do?

    Many thanks for your help

    Roz

I see comments are currently turned off for both your posts.

Could you turn then on for a while so I can test this?

Hi, I can’t hide my “comment”  area in my pages… I turned off all options at discussion settings and on screen options, but it won’t change… I want them on only at contact area… What can I do?

    Hi, Ana

I don’t see any comment forms on the pages, but I do see them on the blog (category) posts. If what you want is to disable those, you’ll need to edit each post and turn off comments on it.
