Hi, thanks so much for creating this fantastic theme!

I’d like to know if it’s possible to use the 4 columns on the presentation page to show excerpts from the most recent posts relating to a certain category (so each column would be used for one of four different categories).

I tried using short code generated by the TPG Get Posts plug-in, pasting this code into the text field of the column, but it doesn’t seem to recognise it as code and instead just displays it as text.

Is there any way of getting around this or doing it differently?

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

You can only type filtered HTML into the presentation page fields. Shortcodes don’t work (yet).

There’s no other way of doing this (currently) than to modify the theme-frontpage.php file and hard-code HTML or shortcodes.
