Hi

I have been looking at Mantra since V2. was released.

After updating to V2.02 I am no longer able to select images for the front page slider. When selected they simply do not appear in the presentation page window.

If a manually specify the images for the slider they presentation page simply does not work – no images showing?

It seemed to work fine on V2.01 with an example shown here http://www.radio45gold.co.uk/v2

I seem to be having this problem as well. All I get for the image slider is a rotating circular arrow. Thanks for looking at this!

Mine suddenly stopped working too, it stopped after the latest update.  Any solutions?

Simon, disable the bwp-minify plugin to see if that one is the cause.

Thanks for the help Zed.  Do you think this will happen with any other 3rd party minify plugins?  I’d really like to turn minify back on at some point.

Try disabling JS “minification” (if the plugin offers you such control) or exclude Mantra’s js files (again, if the plugin offers such features).

I’ve encountered the same issues with W3 Total Cache and js “minification” so I believe we’ll have to play around with our theme code to make it “minify” compatible 🙂

There’s no easy fix in your case. All I see is a generic ‘nivoslider is not a function’

You’ll have to disable all your plugins and make the slider functional again, then enable them back one by one until you see which one interferes with the slider.
