I absolutely love love love how featured images becomes heros when enabled via Septera settings. Many of the images I’m uploading, however, are large and top-alignment within the hero container causes most of the good parts of my images to get clipped. Is there a way to achieve art direction within the Featured Images in Septera so I can center the focal point of my images?

Septera has the option to chose the crop position of the featured images. You’ll find this in the theme’s Featured Images options section (you’ll need to regenerate thumbnails after changing this option).

Stellar! And there are options to simply reposition existing images, which saves me some time as I crank on a prototype. Many thanks to you and team. Septera is undoubtably the most stylish and powerful WordPress theme I’ve ever had the pleasure of using.
