Would you consider adding a Custom JavaScript section as you do in other themes (like Parabola) since it highly useful for functions such as adding google analytics code easily, without creating a child theme.
Also would you consider adding a similar option for the header section, in order to add things like google adsense scripts or similar?

Wordpress.org no longer accepts such functionality in themes as they consider it plugin functionality. You’ll need to search for a plugin to do this.
