Theme Defacement?

    Hello guys!

    I was trying to install the Nirvana theme and when I starting testing it I noticed that when I tried to access a page or a post, it shows only a defacement message (something similar to: https://www.hackread.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/bangladeshi-black-hat-hackers.png)

    The thing is that I don’t get this message when I change the theme to Mantra and try to access the same pages and posts. It only shows with Nirvana theme.

    Any ideas?

    Update: I also tried Parabola and the frontpage works as usual, but whenever I try accessing another page or post, it goes to the defaced page. It works just fine with Mantra, though…

    Later Update: When I change the theme to a stardard worpress theme, it only shows the defaced page… I can’t access any other page.

    I am confused… please help!

    Yes, it was, but I managed to sort it out with a backup from my host provider.

    Did you also find and block the entry (vulnerable) point?

    Without solving the security issue your site will be hacked again the next time bots pass by.
