WordPress in subdirectory causes problems

    Hello,

I have a wp install that I originally installed in a subdirectory.

When I changed the URL from the working URL to the client URL — I had problems and Spencer at Bluehost got the site working by copying it to root.

I think the subdirectory install is still there, but I had a loopback problem with it so Spencer moved it. I usually install in a subdirectory and everything works fine. I wonder if it is the theme or the new version of wp that made this time so different.

I did not want it on root because I want to use an html splash page.

OK — it is working, but I can’t figure out how to show the presentation home page.

What link URL can I put on the menu/ html connect that will open the presentation page?

I really like the presentation page that existed before the URL change.

    Can you help me?

I hope I can keep using the Parabola theme because I really like it for this site.

One of the big attractions is the presentation page.

    I hope this is an easy question . . . .

    Thanks,

    Victoria

If your WordPress configuration is correct and it knows where its files are located, check the custom menu tutorial in my signature and look for the special “Home” menu item (indicated by arrow no. 5).
