I switched my site today from another theme to Bravada and asked the Bravada theme to include my social icons in the footer. They appeared, but, they are not the icons for Linked In & Facebook, only unrecognizable “chain link” icons that no one would know to click on. And, they don’t take you to my social media accounts, just back to my homepage. I’ve looked at length through all the settings and can’t figure out how to fix this or where to put in the links for my actual accounts in this new theme. Can you help?

Cryout Creations mastermindHi,
The theme uses URL matching to guess the icons to use for the social links, so if the links are empty or point to unrecognised URLs, they will use the default “link” icon.
You’ll have to configure your social profile URLs first, and maybe manually apply the required identifiers for any links that are not auto-matched (but are available in the theme). If you like our creations, help us share by rating them on WordPress.org.
