Does anyone know how to set Featured Images for Category Archives?

WordPress does not provide functionality for assigning featured images to categories or acrhive sections.

I found this cool plugin for setting an image:

But, obviously, the theme doesn’t know you set it.

So, with a theme like Kahuna, then, all Category & Archive pages will just have the image you used for Landing Page Static Image Slider? Like this one:
