On my site – http://www.gettingthingstech.com – I’ve used a few different sizes of featured images, which means the images being pulled for the slider are often different heights. The slider tends to stutter and struggle rendering the parts of the bottom parts of the pictures when it has to change its height. I’d rather it enforce a height and just cut off the bottom instead of these uneasy transitions.

The code seemed a little beyond me, but I have a child theme enabled so I can edit it if someone can offer some guidance.
