I’ve put a google map in one of the three text areas offered by nirvana customization, with some markers.
This map spans only to the width of the page. I think based on the current layout with one lateral bar.

Is there a chance to have this google map full width just like the slider and leave all the other articled and pages with current layout (1 lateral bar)?

To do that you’d need to either try some tricky CSS customizations or customize the file handling the presentation page elements and create an additional non-contained slider area (preferably right after the slider or before the footer).
