Hi,

Using a fixed header menu (100px high) and footnotes in posts or pages.

When you click on a footnote reference, the page scrolls down to the footnote, but the text is hidden under the menu bar… You then have to scroll the display a little to bring the footnote down so you can read it.

The same thing happens when returning to the text from the footnote: the display scrolls back to the original text, but it is then hidden under the menu bar!

How can this be avoided? JavaScript code?

Thing is: this happens to any kink of anchor in the page.

When you click on the internal link to an anchor the text where the anchor is set is hidden under the menu bar.
