I want to create a landing page that has none of the header, menus, sidebar widgets… Many themes offer a blank page template with these elements already stripped.

I haven’t found a blank page template with Tempera, is there one?

Alternately, what is the workaround? I’ve used the code <style type= “text/css”><!–.menu {display: none !important;}–></style> in the page’s text editor to remove menu but can’t seem to remove the header and sidebar the same way. Can you at least tell me what the html label is for these other elements (like .menu is for the navigation bar) so I can try to strip this?
