Hi guys,
I need a help or guidance to modify tempera themes. I’m using smart slider 3 and I want to put it only in the front page / home page and not appear in the single post when users click one of the posts.
So far, I just put the plugin into the above content area and it shows in the front page / home page and the single post.
Can you guys, help me how to do that?

You will need to customize the file responsible for the theme’s presentation page (frontpage.php) and replace the built-in slider with your own slider.
You should definitely do this in a child theme.

If you’re not using the theme’s presentation page things are simpler as you can simply place your slider in the above content widget area and use a conditionality plugin to limit that widget’s visibility to the homepage.

Ow… thank you for your reply.
I’m not using themes presentation page and I already did place the slider in the above content widget area. I want the slide only appears on the home page and I do have some programming skill but to use conditionally plugin to limit that widget’s visibility is a new things for me, could you guide me further on this?
