When I publish an article, this one doesn’t appear on the blog page.
I set the option but doesn’t work.

I want to create a blog page with right sidebar in the Tempera theme. How can I get the blog template to apply to my desired page or alternatively, how can I alter the “posts” page to accommodate my sidebar?

The page using the blog template will follow the general layout option set in the theme settings.

I’m sorry. I’m still not clear. Is the answer that I can or cannot have a right sidebar on my blog page in the Tempera theme?

Whether you use the theme’s blog page template or it’s the default (blog) homepage or you set it as the blog page from Settings > Reading, the blog page will use the general layout as configured in theme settings (under Layout). You can change it, but that option applies on (almost) the entire site, not just the blog page.
