Let me ask one question about your plug-in NIRVANA.

I added another plug-in which is called “WPGlobus – Multi lingual Everything!” to create a site in Japanese other than English. It was installed correctly and Japanese pages were created correctly (…../ja/)

Now I can edit the Japanese pages using the feature of WPGlobus plug-in EXCEPT the NIRVANA presentation page in Japanese. If I edit the presentation page in English, the presentation page in Japanese is edited automatically too.

Can you please tell me how to edit the presentation page in second language separately ?

I’m too curious about the possibility of having the presentation page in multiple languages. For example, using the WPGlobus plugin like the previous poster creates example.com/language/ page which could server as a homepage in an additional language. The question is how to populate it with the separate content.
Any experience with other plugins?

I have the same question, like to have A PART of the presentationpage in another language.
Whisch part? -> the 3 column parts under the slider. There is a possibility to place text.
Now I have it in Dutch but I also want to have it in other languages.

Is that possible?

Due to how the presentation page custom content (settings) is stored, the multi-language plugin has to provide a way to customize database records to work with Nirvana.

So far we’ve tested and made Nirvana work with qTranslate X, PolyLang and WPML.

I am currently working on my multilingual website with Nirvana theme, and I noticed I can”t translate the presentation page into a different language than the mother language.

I would like to be able to do that. Is there a way to do it and I am missing it? Help me please.

We cannot say if any other plugin besides the 3 we’ve tested will work.

Hi,
I have a problem with Nirvana 1.1.3 working with the presentation page with polylang.
Polylang works fine to translate the theme from italian to english. The problem arise with the content of the pages.
Working in Polylang > Settings > translation strings tabs, if I insert The second language description in the proper field and push the save button, nothing happens (the second language presentation page -english-still shows only the first language-italian-).

For your reference the Nirvana settings page shows the following message:

Nirvana has protected its own page rendering process against 5 incidents! [ Details ]

The following extensions/resources were blocked from interfering with this page:

Hi,
I went in deep with the issue and I noticed that the 3 text area seem to work with polylang tabs settings.
The problem remains with the column widgets content that you can’t change by polylang tabs settings.

Widgets are not handled by the Strings feature.

I’m not sure it this would work with Polylang, but there is a WPML Widgets plugin which lets you display different widgets based on language.
