Can anyone please explain how to use just the slider part of the presentation page in Tempera, and after the slider use the normal WordPress home page for the rest of the home page? So the resulting page will be a hybrid. It will be named Home in the nav bar, only it will have the slider at the top, followed by fully-editable WordPress. One column and no sidebars is fine for this hybrid home page.

I figured this out. Disabled the presentation page, then installed a slider plugin. In this way you can use the Tempera theme with a slider and full WordPress functionality on the home page.

Hi, I have the same problem. What slider did you download?
I added a meta slider, but i like the Tempera one better. I also costumed the captions already, and would hate to lose that.

Hi, I used meta slider. Works great. It also has an option to use the Tempera slider but I haven’t tried that.

I actually uploaded the meta slider too, and even got the pro version (for the layers..:). But I don’t see the option for tempera.. Could you point me in the right direction? I have these four options Flex Slider , R. Slides , Nivo Slider, Coin Slider. Is Nivo slider what you mean?

I did some customization on the Tempera slider, moved the captions up and image the background color different and i want to use these, instead of building it again from scratch. I know it’s probably a joke for someone with css knowledge 🙂

So where is that option…?
