Hi,

How do I set up one of the social media settings on Tempera so that it opens up / links to a visitor’s email client?

Email is in the list of social media settings, so I assume it’s possible, but I’m guessing I just don’t understand the correct format to put in the address. Can you help?

Oh, and FYI I am not conversant with HTML or code or anything much beyond WYSYIG (which is, BTW, why I love your template!)

In the email “social” icon field, simply enter your email address, like email@domain.com.
The theme will auto-detect this and turn it into the correct link of:

mailto:email@domain.com

Thanks Zed, but I tried that and it didn’t automatically change it to mail to. Instead it changed it to http://info@quoia.com. When I entered mailto:info@quoia.com, it worked. So I was able to make it work for me. But if it’s supposed to do it automatically, it doesn’t.
