1. I need to change the font color of the titles of the presentation pictures on the presentation page. they are not listed in colors. the blue does not work with my color scheme. I believe the color is OD85CC and cannot find that color listed in any flies after searching all of them.

   1. Mantra doesn’t have presentation page specific colour options. That’s the standard link colour which is defined in the options.

      1. All of the option colors are changed there is no blue there at all.

         1. I have no way of knowing (or guessing) the options and their status on your site.
            As you can see in this image, after changing the appropriate option, the titles are now red as the links.

2. I only have room for 4 tabs on the main nav menu before the next tab goes on the 2nd line. How can I reduce the width of the tabs so i an get more on one line?

   I love this theme and I’m using it for my racing club’s website. I have a question about the presentation page though. Is it possible for the column section to have the image shown in each column have a lightbox open and have multiple images from the one thumbnail? I’m using three columns on the presentation page and so I have three thumbnails…one for sponsors, one for parts suppliers and one for other information. I would like it so when you click on the sponsors thumbnail it would open a lightbox image and have like 6 or 7 other images you can scroll through. Is this possible??

   I have a problem maybe someone can help me, it’s simple .. but i dont know much about programming(english also… 😛 ), I just wanted to get to the left side of my texts menus, check out the screens, categories to the left side, just dont know where to change.

    1. The theme is not designed to display both at the same time.

14. How do I set my Home Page as my index page ? Currently, my Home Page is being displayed as: http://www.jerseyshorejewishmusic.org/home-2 and Mantra’s Theme is being displayed as http://www.jerseryshorejewishmusic.org (I’m using this as a temporary testing site for my camera club).

    1. If you don’t want to use the presentation page, disable it in the theme settings and set your static page as homepage in Settings > Reading.

15. Hi,
    I am using Mantra and when you go into the presentation page through Mantra settings on the Dashboard to change the sliders they appear to be frozen? Normally I would click on a slide and it would drop down to allow me to change the slide, now when I click on it, it just changes colour like it would if you hover over a menu tab?
    Any ideas please as I desperately need to change the slides.

    Someone has told me it is because it has a bug somewhere?????? Heeeeelp!

    1. Could you try a different browser?
       If still does not work, a poorly written plugin may be breaking javascript functionality in the dashboard. Try to disable your plugins and see if it solves this.

16. I am looking to have a link on the top (Top Navigation) of the page that when clicked it changes the page to a Spanish version and when click on the Spanish version the same to change it back to English
    Explained: If on About EN page click on the link (Spanish) and land About ES version of the same page.

18. There is a small bug with the social icon display on the current version – no matter what one selects for where to make the socials display, the checkboxes for top right corner and lower right corner will be checked after saving (including any other choices).

    Also, I noticed that the images for facebook, twitter, etc. are out of date – will the correct versions be rolled out in the next version? Thanks!

    3. I want to remove all social icons and have unticked the display options repeatedly but they won’t go!

       1. This was due to a bug which is fixed in the 2.3.4 update.

19. I’m trying to get short codes to display in the widgets, but after I add the line
    add_filter(‘widget_text’, ‘shortcode_unautop’);
    to the functions.php the short code does not display. Do you have any restrictions on using shortcodes in the widgets?

21. I love this theme! Thank you! Here’s my dumb question. I added a table, but am not smart enough to get a background color to show up. On the back end, it’s pretty colored but when I publish, it’s all white. (it’s a huge listing of classes, I want to alternate a background color with white on every other row). Can you please point me in the right direction?

    1. I should add, I have “Hide Tables” disabled. So the background color is confusing me!

22. I have looked everywhere, but have been unable to find any pagination control. The bottom of the posts does not have a “see older posts” so that all that shows is the lst N posts without any way to get to older posts. This is true on the “splash” or “presentation” page but not in the archives page.

    Is there a way to have pagination within the presentation page?

    1. In addition, I have specific “post information settings” set as on (the default ones) yet my posts are not displaying the heading information.

          Which is good, except in the post information settings in the Mantra control interface I have set the time to not display. Which is a bad thing.

          So, it appears that this code in content.php is NOT being displayed because of the entry-meta class is either not being set or being set to display none. But, the time of the post being picked up when the time is set to not display in the mantra interface is still a problem.

          I also have concerns that the changes will be overwritten when the next release comes out and I update the theme.

       2. Make sure the “meta bar” is also enabled, as it includes almost all other meta information in it.

    2. The theme does not currently have such functionality. We may add it in a future version.

23. Is it possible to add a picture/thumbnail slider to the widget area in the sidebar?

    1. Sidebars accept all widgets, no matter their content. It is up to the plugins providing the widgets to properly style their content/functionality.

24. I am having an issue with not being able to uncheck the social media buttons on the top right corner of the header. Each time I uncheck it and save the settings it doesn’t work. Is there something else I need to do. I currently have social media buttons on my logo.

    1. I have the same problem. The icons are located in the header and the footer no matter what I choose. In my case I do want them in the header but not in the footer, however my settings are ignored.

25. I am happy with everything about this template except for the color of the drop down menu on the mobile version and the submit button on the contact page. Both are showing as white on light grey and are difficult to read. Do you know where I could change the colors? I have already tried the Tempera settings color options.

    1. Mantra is not designed for and does not properly support dark colour schemes.

26. Is there anyway we can put a video in the slider ?

    1. This can only be done by replacing the included slider with one which supports videos (and good ones that can do this are not free).

27. how do I move the location of the text box that is located on the slider?

    Is there somewhere where update details are announced?

    1. Well – I have discovered 2 things new – bugs.
       The Pages content is blank and the social media buttons won’t save in the off setting. Have reported it in the forum.

          The social activation is indeed buggy and we’ll get it fixed as soon as possible.

             1. in the meantime, go to the editor and change the following to what you want in the mantra defaults.php

                “mantra_socialsdisplay0” => “1”,

                “mantra_socialsdisplay2” => “”,
                “mantra_socialsdisplay3” => “1”,

                deleat the “1” where ever you want to have the socials hidden by default.

                this worked for me just now.

30. Fantastic theme…I love it! One question: Whenever I want to post or pin one of my blog posts to Pinterest, Facebook, etc, I always get an “access denied” or “we cannot fetch the picture” message. Is there a setting in Mantra that will fix this issue? Thanks so much!

    1. Do you use a featured image with that particular post? Did you try changing the theme to see if this is theme related?
