    Wait, I got it! Figured it out. I selected all pages, new and old, with bulk edit and set them to default template and no parent, and that seemed to refresh it, even on his linux machine.

    Oh yeah, the temporary fix I came up with was to build a widget in the “After Content” area, with the custom menu and page on the right, but that means it will be on EVERY page on my website, and I only want that feature on the landing page, so if I could figure out how to get that to work using the Landing Page settings, it would be perfect.
