Hi,
I’m relatively new to WordPress, trying to run a “news blog” for a small technical “learned society”.
I’m trying to set up a page that will have a fixed intro, followed by posts that have a particular category (BVE News). I found some discussion on the subject of doing this and one comment implied that if the page was named the same as the relevant category, then any posts in that category would appear there. I’ve tried this but it doesn’t seem to work.
I’ve looked at template editing, but my grasp of PHP is limited, and I really don’t want to start tinkering with code at that level. I’m rather suprised that it’s not possible to control individual pages within WordPress – having to settle for “global” changes seems a bit limiting – am I missing something?

Cryout Creations mastermindWith Mantra, the page and category need to have exactly the same slug, the page needs to use the “Category page with intro” template, and your WordPress needs to be configured to use %postname% slugs.
