Just logged on to my back office and updated Tempera. Now my Tempera settings page has return to default and nothing else. I wanted to change my content but can’t because I’ve lost the settings completely…? Help please? Will have to switch themes if I can’t edit content.

The theme would not lose its settings (especially during an update) unless something very wrong happens (like corrupt database tables) or someone performs a settings reset using the theme’s reset button. In these situations the settings can be recovered from a previous database backup or a theme settings export.

Settings can also get misplaced if the WordPress installation is moved to a different URL and the right procedure is not followed. In this case the settings are recoverable.

I have the same problem and now no idea what to do. (I did make a back-up before the upgrade this morning) However I’ve just added quite an amount of pages and changes after the upgrade and back-up and it would be really not okay if I had to put this morning’s version back and do all the changes I made today all over.

Can you give some more specific advice what to do? Lorraine what did you do and did it help?
