I’ve just noticed that on short code generated pages such as “cart” and “my account page” the span code is shown in the path taken section of the page i.e. Home > Cart or Home > My Account
Instead it shows as:
Home > <span class=”hpt_headertitle”>My Account</span>
Home > <span class=”hpt_headertitle”>Cart</span>
Anyway to stop this?

I have the latest free version of Fluida and I’m still seeing the same problem. It shows up only for my Downloads pages. (Click on Bookstore to see the downloads.)

@Claire, I assume you’ve resolved this in the meantime, as I see nothing out of the ordinary on that page.
For anyone else seeing markup in the breadcrumbs, check if you’re using some kind of ‘hide title’ plugin that’s filtering post/page titles and adding the extra markup.August 7th, 2020 at 23:27 #106389
Hi, I haven’t resolved the problem. Here is a link where it still happens:
The breadcrumbs look like this:
Home Download <span itemprop=”name”>My Journal of a Plague Year</span>
I’m using the latest version of Firefox, and I do not have any “hide titles” plugin.

That markup is definitely added by a plugin, although not the same one as the original question.
You can find out which one by temporarily cycling off all your active plugins.
We’ll try adding some additional filtering to remove markup added by plugins to the section title when it’s used in the breadcrumbs.
